SEO Tip #1 - Your Website Better Have Lots of Rich Content

I always find it funny when I see someones website with hardly any content and tons of backlinks. Than the search engine bot sees your site with 3 - 4 pages of content and 75 articles linking to it with god knows what else. When I come across someone in this situation I usually tell them to get crackin on their actual site before they go all out with their SEO campaigns.

Unless you have most of your SEO work outsourced than you should be prioritizing building up your site and adding content. Another problem people have is they will make a site, burn themselves out on adding content and than just let it sit. Try setting a goal for yourself with all of your money sites, that is what I do.

Your goal is to write at least one article or post to each one of your money sites every week. Depending on how many sites you have this can be quite the chore, but if you want to develop some sites that are seen as trustworthy resources by Google you have to keep it flowing.

There are many other methods that can be used for getting content, such as services, ghost writers, blog partners, and scraping methods, but writing your own content is usually a key element to the success of your site. Good luck and make sure you aren't spending all of your time building links to a site that isn't really worth linking to.
